Falena Scura, is best described as a rapper with a steady flow and an aggressive delivery. His lyrically driven style does not shy away from issues that are both political as well as deeply personal.

    Falena is of a mixed cultural background, being of Italian, and Mi'kmaq descent, and grew up both on and off of the Sipekne'katik reservation. His music attempts to chronicle his unique experience, as he looks back and reflects upon personal struggles with hatred, ignorance, shame, confusion, and sorrow... 

    Falena's obscured features are a representation of both his desire to not be judged by his appearance as it has no bearing on his culture or individual identity, and to also represent the feeling of never truly being seen as you are by those around you... JUST FOCUS ON THE MUSIC!!!
